A Chrome extension and an MCP server. The extension turns a page into a numbered list of what can be clicked or typed into. Jev answers one question, which option, with a probability for each, and code maps that number back to the real element, so a model's answer can never turn into an invented selector. Password fields are never listed.
Clicking through a page does not need a frontier model, so Jev Browser Control doesn't use one for it. Measured on the same tasks, it came out 27 to 198 times cheaper than letting Claude's or Codex's own model do the clicking. It is free and open source with your own OpenRouter key, or runs on prepaid credits.
