A language model reads a teacher's written reflection on a difficult student interaction and flags where they defaulted to control instead of curiosity. A voice agent simulates a parent upset about a non-traditional lesson, letting the teacher practice de-escalation before it happens live. How it works

1. A teacher joins a 6-week module on one life skill area (e.g. Financial thinking, conflict resolution, creative problem solving).
2. Each week, an AI instructor delivers a micro-lesson via text and voice, then immediately runs an interactive simulation where the teacher practices the technique.
3. The teacher submits a short recording or written reflection from their real classroom; the AI gives line-by-line feedback tied to the module's framework.
4. A cohort of up to 12 teachers meets live once a week; an AI notetaker captures who is stuck, and the next day's AI-led session adjusts to address those specific blocks.

The first thirty days

Ship one 4-week module on teaching financial literacy to 9th graders. The AI instructor is a fine-tuned model on a specific pedagogy (e.g. Peter Brown's 'Make It Stick'). It delivers daily 10-minute practice sessions. The teacher uploads one audio clip per week for feedback. No live cohort yet. No app. A private web thread between teacher and AI.

How it earns

Schools and districts pay an annual license per teacher, priced below the cost of one in-person workshop. The direct buyer is a head of teaching and learning at a private school network or a charter management organization who needs to show board-level innovation without hiring more coaches.

Why now

Teacher shortages mean schools must retain and deepen existing staff. AI can simulate the one-on-one instructional coaching that only elite schools could afford a few years ago.

First customers

Principals at independent K-12 schools who already talk about 'whole child' education but have no systematic way to train for it. Second circle: heads of talent at charter networks like KIPP or Uncommon Schools.

The hard part

Teacher fatigue is real. Adding another platform to a burnt-out teacher's week will fail if the UX isn't a genuine relief, not another to-do. The AI's tone must feel like a colleague, not an evaluator.
